Study in Prague
Studying in Prague can be a life-changing experience. For good reason, Prague has become a major destination for international students. The city has become an international centre for business, IT and creative media industries as well as the arts.
Prague is safe, has a low cost of living and a thriving international arts and music scene. Students come to study and soak up the beautiful city and incredible surroundings, but eventually they go on to start their careers, open new businesses, become designer or join international firms. Whether you are an aspiring entrepreneur, artist, designer, IT or media professional, Prague has opportunities for everyone. Prague College, as one of the most international universities in Czech Republic, is the perfect place to begin your studies and start off on a new career.
Our students say:
I think Prague is a great city. I like it for being so multicultural, friendly and sort of cozy. It's a perfect place for a student. When I first moved here, Prague was easy to explore, and I met lots of amazing people who helped me a lot. I don’t find the language barrier too difficult; all my friends speak English, as well as everyone at Prague College. Overall, I find Prague a really nice place and would like to stay here for a little while." (Nina, Russia)
"Studying at Prague College has changed my life and I would recommend it to anyone. Prague is a beautiful city in the heart of Europe. There always seems to be something going on around here... If you are looking for a quality education, life experience, culture, a rich social life and skills that can help you succeed in the real world then I recommend Prague College to you." Cost of Living
Prague is considered a very affordable city. You will find that the prices of food and transport are considerably lower than in most European capital cities. You can compare your cost of living here.
In the Czech Republic, the weather is seasonal and moderate, and with a landscape of mountains and forests you can enjoy skiing in the winter as well as camping and biking in the summer.
It's relatively easy to find part-time work while studying, as well as full-time jobs on completion of a programme. International and local companies are keen to hire candidates who speak English and other languages and who come with the right qualifications, and many Prague College students find placements through our Industry Network.
Prague has an extensive and well-organized public transport system that can quickly get you anywhere in the city. Trams are the most popular form of transport, running non-stop throughout the day and night. With the same ticket or pass, you can also ride buses and the three lines of the easily navigable metro system. The modern airport and multiple rail terminals offer easy access to the city, and the opportunity to explore the rest of Europe.
Prague has very low crime rates and is considered a safe place to live. Both our student residence and the college campuses provide a safe and secure environment for living and study.
