Admissions

At Prague College our Admissions Team makes the application process for each of our applicants as smooth as possible. We talk to each of you on an individual basis to find out what your needs are, as we wish to offer the best possible choice of programme. There are no application fees nor entrance examinations.

The application can all be done online, and once submitted, we arrange a final interview with the Programme Leader. This is a crucial part of the application process. The interview is conducted in person at Prague College for applicants who are able to travel to us, and by Zoom or Skype for international applicants.

Please note that at present, it is not possible for applicants to visit Prague College in person because of the global pandemic. During this time all interviews are taking place via Zoom or Skype.

If you are considering 2021 admission or beyond, we invite you to join our Virtual Open Days and 'visit' our campus!

The Admissions team, lecturers and students are always happy to share their experiences with applicants and visitors, and we are also facilitating calls between applicants and current students. If you're interested in hearing more, simply get in touch on admissions@praguecollege.cz, and we can arrange a call for you!

When do semesters start?

Semesters start late September and mid-February.

An intensive, optional summer semester runs in June as part of some programmes. More information can be found in the Academic Calendar.

Please note it is only possible to enrol in the MA Future Design, MA Fine Art, BA (Hons) Fine Art Experimental Media, and final year of the BA (Hons) Creative Media Production and BA (Hons) Graphic Design programmes in the September semester only.

Transferring university

If you are already studying at university and are looking to change institutions, or if you have studied at university level previously, you may be eligible to transfer credits from your studies to your degree programme at Prague College. This means you don’t have to repeat classes you have already taken and may be able to complete your degree in less time. You will need to submit your official transcripts and course syllabus for further assessment as part of the application process.

If you are looking to start a completely new subject area and for a different university experience, we are very happy to speak to you about what Prague College can offer!

For more information about the admission process, and transferring credits, please contact our Admissions advisers at admissions@praguecollege.cz
