Interview with Dominika Cervinkova

A student of the BA in International Management programme features in our current Metro posters campaign

We've seen you on the Metro posters for the second time this year, as part of the new campaign for Prague College... what do you actually think about this campaign as a student of the School of Business?

I am very pleased that Prague College chose me for the campaign, and I was really happy to help them. I think it's really great that Prague College works on campaigns with real students, and this shows a friendly attitude to their students. When I travel by metro and compare other universities' posters offering studies, I have to say that the Prague College poster is more attractive, colourful… just catchy!

You're a student of Bachelor's Programme in International Management. What made you choose an international university? Why did you want to study in English?

English is a business necessity and opens the door to my future. The programme is strongly connected to the international environment as well, and that will help me in future to assert myself and be able to communicate with people of different cultures.

Has Prague College met your expectations?

Yes, even though at first I had a little bit of trouble with the British system, which is significantly different from the Czech school system. On the other hand, I would definitely not change it. I have easily got used to the individual approach, the multicultural and friendly environment, and nice atmosphere.

Where do you see your future career? Do you have any plans?

I don’t have specific plans yet, but after last semester when I studied subjects like Internet Marketing, Advertising and Promotion, I think it might be something in Marketing.

Do you have any summer plans?

So far I have spent some time in England and Croatia, but probably (just like every student!) I'll be resting and working as well.
