MBA Students Visit from Taiwan

by Matthew Butler, on 20 January 2019 13:59:00 CET

Prague College School of Business (now Prague City University) and Chinese Culture University from Taiwan have begun cooperation on what will be an annual visit of executive MBA study abroad students in Prague.

MBA students from the Chinese Culture University come to PCU to deepen their knowledge on sustainable development strategies, strategic CSR, and social entrepreneurship.

The team of experts lecturing on the course includes Bruce Gahir, who is a specialist in CSR and integrated accounting reporting frameworks; Dr Stefano Cavagnetto whose main focus of research is strategy and strategic management; and Lucie Rivera, who specializes on social value creation and models of social entrepreneurship.

The Taiwanese delegation was led by Dr Chao, Chung-Chieh, who is the representative and CEO of the alliance, and who attended the first session this week. At the end of the successful session, Prague City University agreed to long-term collaboration with an alliance of Taiwanese institutions which includes Chinese Culture University, Taiwan Philanthropic Study Institution, and the Xia Jin Shan Art & Culture Foundation.

This cooperation exemplifies the international diversity at PCU, and activities such as this underpin the ethos of our strategic alliance with our key British academic partner, Teesside University, which seeks to create global connections among students and faculty.
