The day began with an overview of the move from education to employment, presented by Laurent Casano, Managing Director of conference organizers Uniglobal. Jiri Smkovsky, HUB director of Hewlett-Packard followed with a presentation of the company's graduate internship scheme.
Other talks in the morning came from Lukas Holovsky of StarsHunt and Mark Harrison of ACCEE, the Association for Credit in Central Europe. After lunch, students were reminded of the importance of personal presentation and making an impression, in an invigorating talk from Trevor Smith of Vision training.
Three talks in the afternoon were aimed specifically at creative artists and graphic designers. Michaela Thomas of Butterflies and Hurricanes, Jessica Serran and Krystof Kriz all addressed the challenges and opportunities of moving into the world of art-related work.
