Last weekend, our BA (Hons) Fine Art Experimental Media graduate Jamba Mulimbwe organized the first dance session of his all-new University Dance Tour. The event was a cooperation between Prague College and Jamba's dance school Balumuka.
This free event saw 150 young dancers learning to move in a wide variety of styles - Afro, Kuduro, Salsa and Bachata - and making new friends in the spacious hall of the Vinohrady Sokol, a gym and fitness centre close to the Prague College campus.
The event was an enormous success, generating a fantastic atmosphere and infectious enthusiasm for more! Jamba was delighted: 'I knew that my old college would be a great place to start, and now we are looking forward to extending the festival to other universities.'
