Saturday 14 November saw Prague College's biggest ever graduation ceremony, when a total of 235 students took their diplomas and degrees at Narodni Dum (National House) in Prague's Vinohrady. Friends and families were also invited to the occasion, which was addressed by Dr Aulay Mackenzie, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Teesside University, Prague College's academic partner in the UK.
In all, twenty-five students graduated with Master's degrees, and a further ninety-eight with honours degrees at Bachelor's level. A further hundred students received diplomas including Higher National Diplomas and Professional Diplomas for working students. First class honours degrees at Bachelor level were awarded to Anna Prošková and Natália Krätsmar-Šmogrovičová (International Management); Stanislav Matuszny and Ivana Špačková (Graphic Design); and Laura Estela Luna Castillo and Matĕj Šenkyřik (Fine Art Experimental Media).
Douglas Hajek, director of the college, said 'Prague College is immensely proud to have been part of shaping these young people's futures. We wish all the very best to our exceptional students, and look forward to hearing of their experiences and achievements as they embark on the next stage of their academic or working lives.'
