One month ahead of the national smoking ban, Prague College has changed its smoking policy to comply with the new Czech law. In a bid to ensure that the whole community is aware of this shift in direction - which covers not only all college buildings but also the streets in the vicinity - there will be a 'smoke-out' on the college patio on Thursday 27 April at 12.40pm.
The event - a matter for celebration or commemoration depending on your personal point of view - is entitled 'The Last Cigarette', and everyone, smoker or non-smoker, is invited to come along. The college cafe will be offering free coffees as an alternative to those for whom breaking an addiction is likely to prove difficult.
