Art lecturer exhibits recent work in Italy

by Alex Went, on 30 June 2015 14:09:05 CEST

Franco Huller's solo show in the municipality of Mira is followed by summer creative workshops

Our associate lecturer in the School of Art and Design, Franco Huller, has been exhibiting his own work to audiences in his native Italy. His  exhibition ‘Creare Il Dubbio’ - ‘Creating Doubt’ -  comprises work completed in Prague between 2009 and 2015, and has been on show at Villa dei Leoni near Venice.

The exhibition is followed, in the first week of July, by 'The Creative Mind' a summer school for young people, where Franco gives the first in a week-long series of creative workshops designed to guide students in teh language of modern and contemporary art.

Franco is the former artistic director of the magazines Autodafè and Ash.  His works have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Italy and the Czech Republic. His artistic career is marked by the intersection of different forms of expression (painting, photography, video art, animation, and multimedia) and the search for a constant interaction between artist and viewer.
