Asgeir Fridgeirsson is founder and director of the ININ Consulting Agency, providing public relation services mainly for Icelandic financial companies. Following the collapse of the banking system and the subsequent economic downturn, he witnessed the collapse of companies such as Landsbankinn and Straumur, that affected other international companies.
He served as Vice-Chairman of West Ham Football Club in England at a time of change of ownership, and gained his MEd in Mass Media and Communcation at Manchester University. Ásgeir has a wide range of experience as a professional journalist and media consultant. In the past he worked as editor of the websites www.visir.is and www.strik.is in addition to Iceland Review Publication House. He also worked as UK Correspondent for the Iceland National Broadcasting Service for five years.
