Parkhotel Praha

parkhotel-praha-1.jpgThe iconic 1960s Parkhotel is situated near to Vystaviste and the Stromovka park. It has always been a popular choice for businesspeople, and under new ownership is currently entering the next phase of its colourful life.

Parkhotel was opened in 1967, an era of relative freedom after the politically and economically strained 1950s. The hotel was originally part of the 'Interhotels' chain owned by Cedok, the largest tour operator in the then Czechoslovakia. Since 2014, there has been a great deal of investment to return the hotel to its former glory, to make the hotel the 1960s icon of Prague, honouring the original architecture and design which was extremely modern and progressive for its time.
