Master Speaker: Philip Gottweis from Skoda

philipgottweis.jpegHave you ever wondered how sports advertising helps sell cars? Our latest speaker is an expert in the field of sports sponsoring and has worked with some of Europe's major car manufacturers.

For the latest talk in our Master Speaker series, Prague College is extremely pleased to welcome Philip Gottweis, coordinator of Sponsoring and Cooperation at Skoda Auto.

Having studied sports sciences and sports management in his native Germany as well as in the United Kingdom, our speaker Philip Gottweis has spent his working life in deeply involved in the world of sports marketing and sponsorship.

Much of that time was spent working with Volkswagen Group, including extended periods in China, helping to plan the VW’s sponsorship of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Since 2011 he has been based at the operational headquarters of Skoda in Mlada Boleslav, where, among other projects, he was responsible for overseeing the motor manufacturer’s contracts with the Tour de France and Ice Hockey World Championship.

For his talk as part of Prague College’s Master Speaker Series, Philip will be talking on the subject of Sports Sponsoring at Skoda Auto.

We are delighted to welcome him to talk about this fascinating and very important aspect of business strategy.
