Finish your ESME degree in Prague

We know that as an ESME student you have many destinations to choose from to study abroad.  We would like to offer one more: Prague.

Thanks to the partnership between ESME and Prague City University, we are pleased to offer study-abroad opportunities for both one semester and one-year. You can earn two degrees by completing your final year of study in Prague.

  • earn a British Master's degree in Computing or International Management, awarded by Teesside University in the UK, while completing your ESME final year in Prague, and graduate with your ESME degree
  • a scholarship of at least 15% and possibly up to 50% for ESME students who apply
  • excellent career opportunities while studying in Prague
  • possibility for internships recognised by ESME after your PCU Master's degree
  • one of the lowest unemployment rates in all of Europe, with cost of living below Paris or any other major French or European city
  • meet students and lecturers from around the world while studying on small programmes with excellent professor-student ratios and a professional, tutorial environment
  • stay on in Prague after your studies if you want to join one of the most dynamic and advanced IT and business labour markets in Europe; or if you just fall in love with the city, lifestyle and people!

For ESME students who have completed 4 years of study, we offer:

MSc Computing (ONE YEAR) focusing on:

  • Mobile Systems and Cybersecurity
  • Project Management Philosophies and Tools
  • Data Analytics
  • Systems Administration and Security
  • Machine Learning
  • Research Methods

For ESME students who have completed 4.5 years of study, we offer:

MSc International Management (ONE YEAR) focusing on:

  • Developing Self and Others
  • Managing People in Organisations
  • Business Research Methods
  • Global Business Environment: Culture, Management and the Economy
  • Strategic Management in an International Context
  • Managing Operations & Finance

Both Master's programmes include project and dissertation work, and can be completed within 12 months.

Tuition fees and Scholarships

The fees for the one-year programme are 336,000 CZK (€13,650). This is payable over three semesters.

If you are accepted on to a Prague City University degree programme, you automatically qualify for the ESME partnership scholarship of 15%, reducing the total cost to about €11,600. You may also wish to apply for further PCU scholarships  - awarded for academic and professional merit - up to a total saving of 50%.

With the 15% scholarship, ESME students pay 95,200 CZK (about €3,900) per semester, for three semesters in the year.

There is a UK student body fee which covers direct costs with maintaining your enrolment and issuing your award on a British-accredited degree programme. This fee is £1200 in total at Master's level, and can also be paid in £400 instalments across the three semesters.
