Krystof spent eight years studying and working abroad, during which time he studied Communication Design and Photography at the University of Applied Sciences in Duesseldorf, and gained his MA with distinction in Visual Communication at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design.
Since 2009 he has been based in Prague, where he currently teaches Image Manipulation Classes and Idea Generation at Prague College.
As a freelance photographer, journalist and educator, he has published and presented his work internationally (including in the Czech Republic, Germany, the UK, France, India, Lithuania, and Turkey).His photography has been promoted by agencies such as Associated Press, APA, CTK, EastNews and Alamy. He is picture editor and photographer at the Czech News Agency in Prague
In the past, Krystof has worked for a publishing house in Hamburg and the IKON gallery in UK, where he also conducted photography workshops for fine art students at Birmingham City University. He has been a guest lecturer at Erciyes University in Turkey, and recently a volunteer teacher in Mulbekh, in the Ladakh region of India.
Photography is his profession and the way he chooses to express himself. Krystof's projects are based on the real world around us, describing the place we live in as it is. He creates visual stories that communicate with the viewer in a narrative, allusive, critical and documentary fashion.
