Gillian Pritchett teaches at Prague College, in person and virtually. As well as working as a business consultant and running her online business, she is adjunct faculty on MBA programmes at universities in Canada and Holland. Her teaching topics are Sector Analysis, Marketing, Business Strategy, International Business Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. Her book, Using Questionnaires to Understand your Target Clients, will be published by Business Expert Press in New York in 2016.
Her international corporate career gave her a wealth of experience and knowledge in finance, mergers & acquisitions, business strategy, and marketing. She now works closely with entrepreneurs launching a new business, and with businesses expanding into new markets at home and overseas. She helps with market analysis, business strategies, and marketing/social media strategies.
A UK chartered accountant with two Master's degrees: in French by research (awarded with Distinction by Warwick University) and in European Industrial Relations and HR from Keele University, she also has a Certificat en gestion de marketing (Diploma in Marketing Management) from HEC Montréal.
Gillian is fluently bilingual in French and English, has conversational German and is learning Czech. Born and educated in the UK, Gillian has travelled extensively, spending several extended periods working in France and Germany and thirteen years in Canada. Now based in the UK, she spends time each year in Prague, Montreal, and Holland.
And Gillian the person? Well, she paints (mixed media on canvas), does a lot of running, hopes one day to squeeze time in to complete her book on music and human rights, and still intends to do the world tour.
