Arshad Hayat gained his Master's degree in Economic Theory with distinction from the international Islamic university in Islamabad.
Subsequently, he worked as an intern for the secretary of the public accounts committee at Pakistan’s national assembly as part of the USAID project. He later moved to the banking sector, working as a credit analyst at Bank Alfalah Limited in Islamabad for three years.
With a strong academic interest in economics research, Arshad moved to Prague to study for his MA in Economics and Management at the Czech University of Life Sciences. He is currently a PhD Economics candidate at the Institute for Economic Studies at Charles University, focusing mainly on growth economics, Foreign Direct Investment, international trade and finance.
