Jorge Carrillo, Ph.D.
Associate Lecturer | School of IT & Computing

Jorge Carrillo teaches in the HND Computing Programme, he focuses in IT Security, IT process improvement and IT Systems analysis and design. Jorge obtained his PhD in applied Informatics at the Faculty of Informatics at Masaryk University in Brno; after his graduation he was involved in delivering IT security reviews across Europe, improving IT processes and reducing operational risk.Currently, he is responsible for the IT Risk Management and IT Policies processes for GE Money Bank Czech Republic.
Jorge has shared his thoughts about IT Security and IT trends with the Czech Media in the last 3 years and has been recognized as a certified professional for the last 7 years; becoming an active member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and participating as speaker in several academic and professional seminars. Jorge says: "Graduates are the future - let's be prepared today to solve tomorrow's real world problems"

Radek Honzik, Ph.D.
Associate Lecturer | School of IT & Computing

Radek Honzik has joined the Prague College staff in 2012. He has been teaching advanced databases with the added focus on the logical structure of the programming and query languages. He has obtained two master degrees and a doctorate (Ph.D.). The first master degree is from General Mathematics and the English language, and the second one from Logic and Computational Linguistics.
He earned his Ph.D. degree at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University. His dissertation dealt with problems in abstract mathematics (set theory). His research interest include advanced topics in set theory (his papers were published in several impacted mathematical journals).

Laban Mwansa, Ph.D.
Guest Lecturer | School of IT & Computing

Dr.
Laban Mwansa has vast international experience in computing ranging
over 20 years. He has lectured and offered IT consultancy services in
various industries and universities in Zambia, South Africa and the
Czech Republic. He works as a Telecommunications consultant/trainer for
Telco mobile operators, and his research interests are in Peer-to-Peer
distributed systems and Networks.
He
has published many scientific articles and has presented at
international conferences. Some of Dr. Mwansa’s publications are
referenced in the Web of Science (WoS), a U.S. database of quality
papers and the Scopus (European database “equivalent” to WoS).
Dr.
Mwansa earned his PhD from the Czech Technical University in Computer
Science and Engineering. He enjoys transferring skills to students and
helping to shape their career development.

George Coppedge
Associate Lecturer | School of IT & Computing

Prior to teaching, he held a series of steadily increasing positions of responsibility in IT, starting as a junior programmer and leading up to be a professional services systems integrator.
His business background and professional IT experience have combined to produce a realistic and results-oriented philosophy that students welcome and appreciate. He has been officially recognised by students for his teaching skills.
He has also designed and conducted several computerised competitive business simulations covering industries such as wireless telephones and commodities trading.
Joel Imhoof
Associate Lecturer | International Business | HND Business | HND Computing
Joel Imhoof has worked in sales, public relations, and advertising both
in the USA and in the Czech Republic. He is a founding partner of
Language & Skills, a network of teachers focused on delivering
high-end hard/soft skills seminars. These experiences have provided him
with valuable insights into the art of poignant communication using a
variety of creative methods- assets he now brings to bear as a teacher.
Joel holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from the University of
North Texas. He has studied abroad in both Guatemala and England and has
been based in the Czech Republic for the last 9 years.
Joel is a certified Czech/English translator, a cautious rock climber, and a dismally land-locked SCUBA diver.
Ing. Dusan Veljkovic
Associate Lecturer | School of IT&Computing

Dusan Veljkovic is a software engineer who comes to Prague College with a wide range of professional teaching experience in the areas of operating systems, programming languages, and research projects.
He also has an extensive business background, working in IT sales and consulting in Prague since 1992. He is the author of two technical books, Programming Language BASIC and Basic Algorithms for Programming, published by Tehnicka knjiga and the Ministry of Education in Belgrade respectively.
Prior to coming to Prague, Dusan Veljkovic was a lecturer at the Centre for Multidisciplinary Studies in Belgrade and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Science, University of Belgrade, where he taught operating systems.
Ing. David Podhola
Associate Lecturer | School of IT & Computing | School of Business

David graduated from Czech Technical University, Faculty of Nuclear Science and Physical Engineering. He started to work in IT professionally about 15 years ago. He started as a developer writing code in Delphi, Visual Basic, C# and then became a team leader of developers.
That soon changed into consulting customers' needs and project/ account management. He found sales and marketing appealing and stayed with them till today doing the same under different position names. He is currently working as Business Development Manager in Sprinx Systems, LLC.
David teaches Networking Technology and End User Support at Prague College.
