Proof of English level

Non-native English speakers are required to submit a recent score from an internationally recognized English examination. These may include, but are not limited to the following examinations:

IELTS

ELSA
(which can be done at Prague College)

TOEFL

If you have recently taken a different internationally recognised English language exam — Czech State Language Exams, Cambridge First Certificate, Cambridge Advanced English and so on — those results can also be used to assess your current language ability.

If you have questions about your English level or whether you need to sit an examination please contact Nelli Lahutka and the rest of our Admissions advisers:

Is your English level too low?

If your test scores place you below the required level for your chosen programme — or if you are not feeling comfortable entering a full university programme taught in English — then we can offer you several preparation programmes.

The Access Programme combines basic English and business courses, and can prepare you for entry to a diploma, HND or BA program. The study plan for each access programme student is set individually based on specific needs.

Students who are intending to enter an HND / BA programme, but lack the required level of English, can also be enrolled in the International Business programme at the appropriate level. When their English scores improve, usually after one to three semesters, they can join the HND or BA directly.
