The Master Speaker Series (AJ)
The Master Speaker Series provides additional interaction
and exposure for students of the School of Business by integrating high
level business leaders from around the world into their academic and
professional dialog. The series focuses on adding a practical value to
the students of our MSc International Management Programme so
that they can be inspired and educated from top professionals
throughout various industries, both in profit and non-profit sectors as
well as in cultural and political spheres of influence.
The
Master Speaker Series gives our Postgraduate students a chance to ask
questions to industry leaders that are pressing to them; it creates an
opportunity to network and meet the greater Prague business community
and inspire ideas for further research and study.

Bruce Sterling | 2 přednášky | 26.5. 2010 (text v AJ)

“Nobody knows better than Bruce Sterling how thin the membrane between science fiction and real life has become, a state he correctly depicts as both thrilling and terrifying in this frisky, literate, clear-eyed sketch of the next half-century. Like all of the most interesting futurists, Sterling isn’t just talking about machines and biochemistry: what he really cares about are the interstices of technology with culture and human history.” -Kurt Andersen, author of "Turn of the Century"
